AI Project Lab for youth learners
Most young people are already using AI on their own, so AI Project Lab is structured practice in doing it well. Every generation is run by an instructor on an instructor held account, so learners get the thinking and the judgment without needing their own logins or unsupervised access.
Inside the program
What this program looks like
- Two levels: Cadets in grades 2 to 5, Commanders in grade 6 and up
- Cadets: prompt literacy, predicting results, and spotting when AI gets something wrong
- Commanders: spotting bias and stereotyping, keeping a prompt log, and an AI capstone
- Guidance for older learners on using AI responsibly in their own schoolwork
